Body Scrub

2 cups Soft brown sugar

1 Cup sweet almond oil

4 tsp Lavender powder

5ml Lavender Fragrance or Essential Oil

Method; Combine ingredients well in a bowl. Store in containers until needed.

Tip; This recipe can be changed to suit your own budget and you can omit the lavender powder.

Other Powder Options; cinnamon/ Nutmeg

                                       Orange powder/ Cocoa Powder

 

Bath Salt

Making bath salts is easy, simple, quick and creative...There are many different types of Salt, All kinds offfers an organic Kalahari Salt( course, medium and fine salt), Magnesium Sulphate and Magnesium Chloride.

To color salt you will need bath salt dye( powder) or water soluble dye(Liquid). A tiny bit of color goes a long way i.e 10ml dye will color 50kg. To color using water soluble dye, start with drops (1 kg/ 20 drops) Add more as desired. For an upgrated special bath/ foot soak, you can add epsom salt, dried botanicals (Rose Petals), Glitter micas etc.  You could layer different colors of salt in nice containers to make a special gift.

 

Spicy Body Scrub

25mls Jojoba Oil

2 tsp cinnamon

2 tsp nutmeg

5 ml cinnamon fragrance or essential oil of your choice

method;

Luxurious Milk Bath

1 cup powdered milk

1 cup medium salt (all kinds of everything)

1/2 cup baking soda (All kinds of everything0

1/2 cup cornstarch

10 drops fragrance (All kinds of everything)

Method;

Mix all ingredients thoroughly, till smooth and even - no lumps. Sprinkle 3-4 tablespoons into your bath for a relaxing and comforting bath.

Notice how soft your skin feels after this indulgence. The shelf life of this product is about 3 months

 

Refreshing Peppermint Foot Soak

250g course salt

250g medium salt

5 drops peppermint essential oil

Method;

mix the essential oil into the course salt, add the rest of the ingredients and mix thoroughly well....Ready to use

 

Fizz Balls

Requirements;

Fizz Bomb double sided mould

Dry Ingredients;

2 cups bicarbonate of soda

1 cup citric acid

1 cup cornstarch

Sieve all ingredients well until smooth

Liquid Ingredients

125mls sweet almond oil

25mls water

20mls fragrance or essential oil

100 polysorbate 20

Instructions;

Combine all liquid ingredients and shake well together. Drizzle into dry ingredients and mix well together.

Pack balls of mixture tightly into moulds and slide the balls out the moulds. Place balls onto a wooden board or cupboard to dry out over night. Package fizzballs into cellophane bags or fizz ball holders.
