An emulsifying wax sourced from naturally occurring fats and esters and processed into pastilles or flakes.  An ideal medium for blending of fine creams, lotions and other fluid cosmetics which contain oil and waters.  The wax binds the oil and water in perfect union and remains one of the most important ingredients in the cosmetic industry.  This prevents separation and improves the consistency and texture of the final product without leaving a greasy film on the skin.  A mild stabilizer and thickener .

A waxy solid prepared from Cetostearyl alcohol containing a polyoxyethelene derivative of sorbitan a fatty acid ester.
